WED 14-JUN at The Globe: ‘ What Could Possibly Go Wrong?’ – Tian Kalouli (voice), Nicky Scott (voice & guitar) James Goodwin (lead guitar), Doug Kyle (double bass), Pete Low (sax / flute). Very well-received combo, previously aired at Jubilee Hall cabarets (see here) and now joined by Pete Low for what should be a great evening.

WED29-JUN at The Globe, Chagford: Open Mic Night at 8:30 – Usual recipe, up in the Function Room, including an excerpt from Benjie’s upcoming show (see below). FREE

Benjie Dudgeon in ‘Drinking in America’

July 2nd, Chagford Jubilee Hall 7.30pm: Benjie Dudgeon in ‘Drinking in America’ – an exciting and daring piece of theatre suitable for 16 years and up. You’ll be the fly on the wall and witness the precarious reality of some very odd people.
It’s a piece of quality acting in which you’ll see Benjie’s scope as a performer as he takes on 12 different guises. Featuring the rat eating Prince Charles fan, London guv’nors, a Peeping Tom, and the annoying bloke who kicks up a fuss in the delicatessan . Come if you want to be amused.

Featuring support from the Levi Moretons (Lite), tickets are available from Amy’s Flowers and cost 10 pounds.

The NOSY CROWS Chagfords newest band PLAYED LIVE AT THE GLOBE INN CHAGFORD.

They were accompanied by their friends THE WILD VIOLETS. It was a packed house and a great evening was had by all.

Don’t forget Chagford’s Open Mic Nights. The last Wednesday of the month. These events have built over the last two years and are so popular that the larger upstairs room at The Globe Inn is the venue on WednesdayJune 29th Hope to see you there.
