Steward Community Woodland is a permaculture project which aims to demonstrate the value of integrating conservation 
woodland management techniques with organic growing, traditional skills and crafts and low-impact sustainable living.
It is situated in the north-west end of Steward Wood, one mile from Moretonhampstead.
We are converting the woodland from a conifer plantation to a native woodland using continuous cover forestry. We also run courses on a range of subjects.
