Musical Performance Workshops with Dickon Fell

This is the first session of a two part workshop where you bring your instruments along and establish a selection and initial arrangement of music together. Come and enjoy a fantastic morning of fun and group dynamics and create some improvisational music together! All budding musicians should attend and all the family is welcome! Some instruments available.Later on the group can play together in a local pub! Children from 10 yrs welcome.

Now more than ever a website is part of everyday life! Learn how to create your own exciting and interesting website or blog. The day will help you to create your own mini website or blog that you can then use at home. A basic computer knowledge is required. We’ll use free software from the internet or wordPress etc. and you’ll be able to have your own basic website by the end of the day. Be creative and have a go!

The Moretonhampstead Mile

Moretonhampstead Sports and Community Centre is bringing the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile to the pretty moorland town of Moretonhampstead. Walk, jog or run (or maybe hop, skip, jump) around the sports field then kick-back and enjoy all the entertainment on offer. Don’t miss out. Sign up to The Moretonhampstead Mile now!
Anyone can do it, enter online and you will receive your own sponsor kit.

Date: 25th March 2012
The routes will be as follows:
1 Mile = 4 laps of sports field
3 Miles = 3 laps of sports field followed by Wray Barton Trial
6 Miles = 3 Mile route x 2

• Event opens: 10:00
• Event closes: 14:00

Simply choose your own distance. You can add more people to join you in the Mile later.
The bar will be open and we’ll have hot food waiting on your return.

We will be demonstrating various crafts including mosaic, decopatch, knitting, sewing. There will be pastel painting with Georgina. These workshops are for the complete beginner and experienced painters alike, drawing and sketching, using watercolours freely, and gaining confidence with subject matter and paint. You are free to explore all aspects in depth with an experienced tutor/illustrator. There is no time set aside for the elements of these workshops you are free to spend as much or as little time on each as you wish £40

TWO DAY COURSE – £95 – 2012 dates to be announced

Learn subject selection, sketch, outline drawings from observation, explore painting techniques and create your own painted view , whether a landscape, building or still life. 10 – 4 each day
